I used to feel ashamed of the time I spent in Maplestory

  • I used to feel ashamed of the time I spent in Maplestory, but looking back, I realize that it meant a lot to me as a kid. I’m no longer in touch with any of the friends I made all those years ago, but the time that I spent with them was just as valuable as the other friendships that I made over the course of my life. All of my experiences, both positive and negative, taught me about myself and about the world. I got to have the same emotional closeness and crushing betrayals that other middle schoolers had in their own social cliques, but instead of  MapleStory M Mesos a school cafeteria, the backdrop was the Maplestory Marketplace. My childhood was different, since so much of my early socialization happened online, but my experiences are just as valuable as the experiences of others. It was far from a gap in my life. Rather, it was a fundamental part of cultivating the person I am today.

Many people out there might recognize the name “MapleStory,” a free-to-play MMORPG with adorable little avatars and plenty of history. Now the game is moving to Android, with MapleStory M. In this new mobile game, there are five original characters to pick from like the Dark Knight, the Bowmaster, Night Lord, Bishop and Corsair. As such, there are daily dungeons to raid with different loot to grab each week. Those who want progress in a more private manner can focus their energy into climbing the floors to reach Mu Gong – martial arts master. People who are into the loot game can look into Nett’s Deadly Pyramid to search and find treasures. Of course, people can join up with others and do raids for exclusive rewards with up to ten players.
